In the Turkish culture, we believe there is a connection between ringing of the ears and being remembered and mentioned by someone. However, if the tinnitus this ringing in the ears is not taken seriously, it may manifest itself as a disease or a symptom in some people.

Yes… We always learn new words. The word “tinnitus” has recently appeared in the medical terminology. We can say that the number of patients with tinnitus increase rapidly globally and the disease is an endless ringing in the ears.

The ringing in my ear started a couple of years ago in the form of an endless swish. For some, this can cause extreme discomfort. I think I’m lucky in this sense, because it is possible to learn to live with tinnitus if you have the discipline. Here, I share an article of Prof. Songül Aksoy from Hacettepe University Faculty of Health Sciences Audiology Department. [Prof. Dr. Songül Aksoy – Tinnitus] We need to understand tinnitus better.

Yes, our ears may ring, but is it really because somebody mentions us? Anyone who experienced such a thing and wants to share?
