As Siemens Türkiye, we integrate energy efficiency and digital transformation into every stage of our value chain, and through the collaborations we implement in sectors with high energy consumption, we contribute to energy efficiency and digital transformation.
We approach energy efficiency together with digital transformation. Through the solutions we implement across industry, infrastructure, and buildings, we support the more efficient use of energy. We make sustainability and digital transformation a core focus. Through our engineering and technological capabilities, we develop solutions that enable more efficient energy use. With a digitalization-focused approach across industry, infrastructure, and buildings, we contribute to a low-carbon transformation. Energy efficiency plays a critical role in addressing the climate crisis and supporting sustainable development.
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AS A POWERFUL DRIVING FORCE
The world is facing urgent challenges created by climate change. In this period, digital transformation stands out not merely as a technological step, but as a powerful driving force for sustainability and growth. However, today the greatest risk in the field of sustainability is not the lack of technology, but short-term thinking and decision-making habits.
It is of critical importance for governments, industries, and institutions to focus on reducing carbon emissions, using resources more efficiently, and building more resilient structures in the face of uncertainty. In this context, the statement by our Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources emphasizing the goal of “growing Türkiye’s energy through efficiency in line with the 2030 vision” stands out as one of the strongest indicators of the importance our country places on this issue.
In line with this objective, we see digitalization as a powerful tool for accelerating transformation, from infrastructure design through to operation.
KEY CHALLENGES AHEAD
While digitalization is an important step toward sustainability, significant challenges remain. Today, many infrastructure systems have been in operation for decades and cannot be easily integrated with digital technologies. Moreover, while data is available across many points, the lack of integrated, consistent, and reliable data flows into decision-making processes remains a major bottleneck.
DELIVERING TANGIBLE RESULTS
Over the past year, we achieved significant results both within our own operations and across our customers’ operations. In 2025, we contributed to a reduction of 148,000 tCO₂-equivalent emissions in our customers’ operations. During the same period, energy efficiency projects implemented for our customers delivered 448 energy-saving measures, creating a total savings potential of EUR 21.72 million.
